To receive e-mails at your AgileWaveCRM Exchange mailbox:
- Set up forwarding while your DNS changes take effect (typically 24-48 hours). This will prevent any emails from being lost. Most ISP's have an administration page where you can setup a forwarding address; if you're unable to find it contact your administrator or ISP directly.
Configure forwarding from your current email account(s) to your @AgileWaveCRM.com email address. Your @AgileWaveCRM.com email address can be found in both your welcome setup email and in the AgileWaveCRM.com Control Panel.
- Change your mail (MX) record to the AgileWaveCRM mail servers. This ensures that emails are delivered immediately to your new mailbox. Ask your website hosting company/domain registrar to change the MX record for your domain. If they do not, you will need to use a service such as Domain-DNS.com or ZoneEdit.com to take control of your DNS and make the changes yourself.
The information for the AgileWaveCRM.com Mail or MX servers is:
Exchange Server 2003 & 2007
| Primary / Priority |
0 |
| Server Name |
mx1.AgileWaveCRM.com |
| Secondary/Priority |
5 |
| Server Name |
mx2.AgileWaveCRM.com |
NOTE: Do not make the priority the same for both MX servers as this will cause loss of e-mail. The Priority/preference number for mx1 must be lower than that of mx2.
