Reprovision Your Good Mobile Messaging Treo Device

 

Sometimes there may be a need to reinstall Good Mobile Messaging on your device. After reinstalling you will need to reprovision Good Mobile Messaging. To do this:

  1. Login to the Control Panel. Click the drop-down menu to the right of the users name and select "Good Mobile Messaging."
  2. Click Regenerate Pin.
  3. Go to the Good Mobile Messaging home screen on your device.

  4. Type the word "debug" without the quotes - you will not be able to see the characters as you're typing. After typing the word a command line prompt will appear. At the command prompt, type "reprov" without the quotes and click Enter. You will see a message that says "This will erase ALL data and reprovision the device - are you sure you want to do this?"

    This will not erase the entire handheld - only Good Mobile Messaging will be re-installed.

  5. Type a capital Y. The device will reprovision and soft-reset itself. After is has completed run the fetch command to repopulate your sub-folders.
